Why We Built This Site
Georgia generally permits public access to court information, but the correct custodian depends on the case. Patricia L. Bass, Clerk of Superior Court, keeps Superior civil, felony criminal, and Superior Juvenile records. Probate Court keeps probate and county traffic records, while Magistrate Court handles its limited civil and ordinance docket. PeachCourt, Georgia Probate Records, and Georgia Magistrate Records remain separate services. The site organizes those official contacts, search channels, and request steps in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Lanier County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by name or number through PeachCourt or the separate Georgia Probate and Magistrate providers
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Georgia court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party companies power search boxes found on some pages. They control their services, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. Lanier County Court Docket does not control the provider’s charges or guarantee what its search returns.
